    Description

SIX WW1 PHOTOS OF AMERICAN GI, MILLARD HOENSHELL, WITH FRIENDS DATED OCT.7, 1917.
(Sorry for listing as British but with this eBay platform, you are locked in on their heading and that's it.)
This soldier named Millard Hoenshell was born in 1899 in Oklahoma.
This puts him at 18 years old in 1917.
There are two studio photo's of him and four of him and his friends.
The studio photo's were made into real photo postcards.
The single image of Millard on a bicycle reads Co. B 10 Field at the top border, and Kansas at the bottom.
The pair standing by the bicycle are on the left: Roy Schlentz and Millard Hoenshell on the right.
The pair of soldiers against the trees are Millard Hoenshell on the left and Charlie Schlentz on the right.
Maybe Millards Army friends are brothers as they have the same last name.
The pair of soldiers in front of the house are Fallin on the left and Millard on the right.
All photos are date stamped Oct.7, 17 on the back.
All photos are postcard size and are in excellent condition.
