This is a set of six original photos of Gone With the Wind characters.
All
black and white photos
are in very good condition, and measure 8" x 10".
The set includes from top left to right:
1. Victor Jory - Jonas Wilkerson Tara's overseer
2. Ward Bond - Tom The Yankee Captain
3. Clark Gable as Rhett Butler
4. Jane Darwell - Mrs. Merriwether
5. Marcella Martin as Cathleen Calvert
6. William Bakewell - The Confederate Mounted Soldier (who tells Scarlett the Yankees are coming)
7. Fred Crane as Brent Tarleton (one of the Tarleton Twins) 8" x 10" photo copy of publicity still
The Marcella Martin photo is a original studio release and is stamped with info on the back:
"Gone With The Wind all-time-great picture, starring Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard and Olivia de Havilland, is now released by Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer in tribute to the year of the Civil War Centennial. The David O. Selznick production, based on Margaret Mitchell's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and filmed in Technicolor with a cast of thousands, was directed by Victor Flemming."
The Jane Darwell photo
is also a original 1936 studio photograph. It is from the movie Little Miss Nobody, with movie information along on the bottom:
