Bose Lifestyle 30 series II head unit

I'm selling my Bose Lifestyle 30 series II head unit. The auction includes the head unit, the RC-25 remote and the power supply. No speakers or other accessories are included. PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BUYING:
1. CD player function is disconnected, as it just tries constantly to read the CD. It has only been disconnected. The wiring and CD cartridge are present.
2. The LCD display does not always show the function selected.
3. The head unit is 20 years old. This is a system for purists, enthusiasts, Bose fans. It is very well put together using premium components but you should expect that, as with any older electronic goods, you may have to service it yourself to keep it in working order.
Both issues 1 & 2 are common and can be fixed if desired. As I understand it, you would need to swap out some capacitors, using a soldering iron. The procedures are available in online Bose forums. If you need help finding those, let me know. For the main business of the unit - driving a surround sound system - the head unit works well. Ask yourself how often do you play CDs these days anyway?!

Due to the high postage cost, you should consider there to be no return policy.
