Description
No keg will refuse to open when using one of our custom made 1/4" thick Tap Handles!Built to outlast any number of kegs you throw at it -- figuratively or literally! We designed this on our 480volt CNC plasma, then finished by hand, including welding on the stout (pun intended) 3/8-16 receiver!
Finally, we powdercoated it black to seal the deal.
All other handles will pale in comparison! You can paint it any color, or keep black powdercoated as-is for a strong, resilient finish.
Finally, your homebrew can be properly identified with the respect it deserves!
Dimensions are 10" tall by 3" wide by 1/4" thick (3 gauge).
Does Thickness Matter? YES! But it can be confusing because a lot of ads say “heavy duty,” “thick,” or “very durable,” but those are just words. Some ads will tell you it is a particular gauge, but if you are like us, these approaches make us feel like a goat looking at a watch – – pretty confused! So, in this listing we use 1/4″ thick metal plate. Let’s put that in a list of thicknesses using common coins:
1/4″ = .250″ = 3 Gauge = Thicker than Two Quarters AND Two Dimes, all four stacked on top of each other! That is 500% thicker than a lot of signs out there!
1/8″ = .125″ = 11 Gauge = Thicker than a Quarter and a Dime Stacked on Top of Each Other (2.4% Thicker). It is 250% thicker than 18 Gauge and 60% thicker than 14 Gauge.
